FROZEN PIPES? HERE'S WHAT TO DO.

If you are experiencing frozen pipes, there are some measures you can take to prevent them from bursting. First, know how to shut your water off! This is critical and can save you thousands in damage costs. Make sure the "hot" side of your sink's faucet is turned ON. Thaw pipes with warm air using a hair dryer or space heater. NEVER leave space heaters unattended or use a kerosene heater as these pose a huge fire risk. When the ice thaws, it will begin to run through your faucet. To avoid these frozen pipes in the first place, keep water running through the pipes by allowing a small trickle of water to run. If your pipes run through cabinets or vanities, open the doors to allow warmer room temperatures to circulate.
